We are on the lookout for a dedicated Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Cairns. The successful candidate will play a vital role in designing, implementing, and evaluating mechanical systems, ensuring they meet industry standards and project requirements. You will be an integral part of our engineering projects, from concept through to completion, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve optimal results.

Responsibilities

• Lead project development from conception to completion, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
• Work closely with other engineering disciplines to integrate system designs.
• Assess project risks and develop mitigation plans as necessary.
• Perform product lifecycle analysis to enhance efficiency and sustainability.
• Research new technologies and materials to enhance product offerings.
• Assist in budget preparation and project resource allocation.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and interns.
• Participate in client presentations and project updates.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5-7 years of experience in mechanical engineering or a related field

Certifications

• Certified Professional Engineer (CPE)
