Job Description

As an Industrial Machinery Mechanic, you'll be pivotal in conducting maintenance and repairs on various pumps. Your expertise will help ensure optimal performance and reliability of machinery.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections on various types of machinery and pumps.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues effectively.
• Maintain detailed records of repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to improve operational processes.
• Lead training sessions for junior staff on machinery handling.
• Participate in safety audits and compliance checks.
• Stay informed about industry trends and share insights with the team.

Requirements

Education

• Trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

Experience

• At least 2 years' experience within the pump servicing industry

Technical Skills

• Welding and Fabrication
• Use of Hand and Power Tools

Soft Skills

• Teamwork

Certifications

• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in the mining or oil and gas industry: Relevant industry experience is considered a plus.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and control circuits: Familiarity with pump electrical systems and control circuits.
