Responsibilities
Monitor the operation of die stamping machines to ensure proper functioning.
Conduct preventive maintenance and minor repairs on machinery.
Meet daily production targets with an emphasis on quality.
Document production processes and notify management of any irregularities.
Promote a safety-first approach in all operational tasks.
Help implement Lean Manufacturing techniques to optimise productivity.
Coordinate with team members for smooth operational workflows.
Engage in ongoing training and education to enhance manufacturing skills.
Assist in inventory management of materials and tools.
Provide feedback on machine performance and suggest enhancements.
Requirements
Education
Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (or equivalent)
Current Forklift License
Experience
Minimum of 2 years' hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
