Job Description

Join our manufacturing team as a Die Operator, where you will be responsible for setting up and running die stamping machines. Your expertise will contribute to achieving production goals and delivering top-quality metal parts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the operation of die stamping machines to ensure proper functioning.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and minor repairs on machinery.
• Meet daily production targets with an emphasis on quality.
• Document production processes and notify management of any irregularities.
• Promote a safety-first approach in all operational tasks.
• Help implement Lean Manufacturing techniques to optimise productivity.
• Coordinate with team members for smooth operational workflows.
• Engage in ongoing training and education to enhance manufacturing skills.
• Assist in inventory management of materials and tools.
• Provide feedback on machine performance and suggest enhancements.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (or equivalent)
• Current Forklift License

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.

Technical Skills

• Strong mechanical skills
• Basic computer skills

Certifications

• Current Working at Heights and Confined Spaces Tickets
• Current First Aid Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent
