Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Accountant to join our team in Geelong. The successful candidate will handle a variety of accounting tasks including financial reporting, tax compliance, and budgeting. You will play a vital role in our financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance while providing strategic advice to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial discrepancies and develop solutions.
• Prepare end-of-year financial reports.
• Evaluate financial operations and recommend initiatives.
• Oversee payroll processing and compliance.
• Enhance internal financial controls.
• Assist clients in tax planning and financial matters.
• Collaborate with other departments for seamless operations.
• Review financial processes for continuous improvement.
• Prepare presentations for financial discussions.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration
• Master's degree in Accounting is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in public accounting

• Xero Certified Advisor
