Job Description

We are on the lookout for a talented Mechanical Drafter, proficient in AutoCAD, to join our dynamic engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality technical drawings and collaborating with engineers to bring innovative designs to life. A keen attention to detail and a passion for engineering are essential.

Responsibilities

• Utilize AutoCAD software to produce high-quality technical drawings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify design needs.
• Prepare revised drawings according to client and project manager feedback.
• Conduct quality checks on completed drawings to ensure accuracy.
• Assist in creating project documentation and manuals.
• Keep abreast of changes in codes and regulations that may impact drawing standards.
• Participate actively in design discussions and brainstorming sessions.
• Document and log changes for future reference.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Engineering Manager.

Advantageous

• Understanding of BIM technologies: Experience with Building Information Modelling technologies is a plus.
• Experience in project management: Background in managing drafting projects from initiation to completion.
