Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in aircraft electrical and avionics systems.
  • Maintain compliance with Australian aviation regulations and safety standards.
  • Document all maintenance, inspections, and repairs performed.
  • Conduct pre-flight checks and post-flight inspections after repairs.
  • Work collaboratively with engineers and other technicians on maintenance procedures.
  • Utilize specialized avionics diagnostic tools to facilitate repairs.
  • Stay updated with advancements in avionics technology and maintenance practices.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills.
  • Assist in the development of maintenance procedures.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Avionics or Aircraft Maintenance Engineering
  • Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management or a related field is a plus
Experience
  • 2-5 years of experience in avionics maintenance or a similar role
