Special Education Teacher (SPED Associate)

Job Description

As a SPED Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting students with special needs in our educational settings. This position involves close collaboration with teachers, parents, and professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), ensuring that students receive the accommodations they need to thrive academically.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support for students.
• Implement targeted interventions based on individual student needs.
• Utilize assistive technologies and adaptive learning materials to enhance student engagement.
• Facilitate small group intervention sessions for students requiring additional support.
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and IEP compliance.
• Participate in school-wide events and support initiatives to foster an inclusive environment.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Special Education or a related field is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in special education or related field.
