Cinder Crusher Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a Cinder Crusher Operator to join our operations team. In this role, the operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery to crush cinders into desirable sizes for construction material applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in operating heavy machinery and a strong commitment to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operating conditions of the cinder crushing machinery.
• Perform safety audits and assist in fostering a safety-oriented culture.
• Conduct machinery adjustments and repairs when necessary.
• Assist in training new operators on safe operating procedures.
• Participate in regular team meetings to identify areas for improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of material output and machinery efficiency.
• Work closely with the Quality Control Inspector to ensure product standards.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred: Heavy machinery trade certificate.

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in the construction materials industry

• Machinery troubleshooting

Certifications

• WorkSafe Health and Safety Certification
