Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Telecommunications Equipment Installer and Repairer. The successful candidate will be tasked with the installation, repair, and maintenance of telecommunication systems for our diverse clientele. Excellent communication skills and technical expertise are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, repair, and maintenance of various telecommunications equipment.
• Complete thorough testing to ensure satisfactory operation of systems.
• Deliver outstanding customer service through effective communication.
• Coordinate with the sales team regarding client requirements.
• Maintain safety protocols on all client visits.
• Provide detailed documentation of all repairs and installations.
• Assist clients with troubleshooting technical issues.
• Engage in continuous learning about emerging telecommunication technologies.
• Monitor and manage inventory of equipment and supplies.
• Report to the Technical Manager with updates on projects.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Telecommunications Technology or similar

Experience

• 2+ years in a customer-facing telecommunication role

Technical Skills

• Electronic troubleshooting
• Networking principles

Soft Skills

• Customer service

Certifications

• Valid driver's license

Languages

• English: Fluent
