Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Keyseating Machine Set Up Operator responsible for setting up and operating keyseating machines to shape and cut metal components according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines according to specifications for keyseating processes.
• Adjust machine settings to achieve desired tolerances and finishes.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to verify compliance with specifications.
• Maintain proper operation and address machine issues promptly.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed at all times during operations.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency.
• Document production data and update maintenance logs.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade) or equivalent
• Trade qualification as a Machinist, Fitter and Turner, or Toolmaker

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in setting up and operating keyseating machines in a manufacturing environment.
