Barges Loader

Job Description

The Barges Loader will be responsible for loading and unloading barges safely and efficiently. This role demands attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment where adherence to safety protocols is paramount.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and cranes, during loading/unloading.
• Monitor and maintain cargo records and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Work collaboratively with the vessel crew and terminal operations team.
• Adapt to changing priorities and commitments as directed.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety policies.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in forklift operation preferred

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
