Job Description

The Emergency Medical Driver is responsible for transporting patients from the scene of emergencies to medical facilities safely and efficiently. This pivotal role requires a strong ability to respond to situations swiftly while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency calls and transport patients efficiently.
• Ensure the emergency vehicle is well-maintained and ready for service.
• Maintain clear communication with hospital staff and other emergency services.
• Document all transport activities and patient care accurately.
• Assist in training new drivers and support staff as necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Valid Driver's License
• Current First Aid and CPR Certification
• Advanced Driving Course
• TAFE certificate in automotive or emergency services is preferred

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of driving experience in a similar role or in emergency services

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
