Radiation Therapy Technologist (RTT)

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Radiation Therapy Technologist (RTT) to administer radiation therapy to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout treatment. The RTT will work closely with radiation oncologists and contribute to patient education and care.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiation therapy equipment and deliver precise treatments.
• Monitor and adapt treatment plans based on patient progress and medical advice.
• Educate patients about procedures, side effects, and post-treatment care.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Assist in quality control measures to enhance treatment accuracy and effectiveness.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or relevant field
• Postgraduate qualifications in Radiation Therapy are preferred

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting

Certifications

• AHPRA Registration

Languages
