Rehabilitation Counselor

Job Description

As a Rehabilitation Counselor, you will play a pivotal role in helping individuals with disabilities navigate their vocational journeys. You will conduct assessments, develop tailored rehabilitation plans, and collaborate closely with clients and various stakeholders. Your expertise will empower clients to overcome barriers to employment and achieve their career aspirations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vocational and psychological assessments for clients.
• Create tailored rehabilitation and job search plans according to individual client needs.
• Assist clients in developing relevant job skills and resume writing.
• Network with potential employers to find job placements for clients.
• Evaluate and document client progress on rehabilitation goals.
• Work closely with social services and support agencies for additional client resources.
• Provide ongoing support and adjustment to rehabilitation plans as necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Master's degree in Vocational Rehabilitation or similar preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in rehabilitation counselling.
