Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine engaging scripts for stage and screen.
  • Work with creative teams to ensure cohesive production narratives.
  • Review and incorporate feedback effectively to enhance scripts.
  • Participate in rehearsals to support cast in script interpretation and character development.
  • Engage in market research relevant to the themes explored in productions.
  • Manage project timelines and deadlines efficiently.
  • Develop promotional materials in collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Evaluate audience reception and adjust productions accordingly.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Theatre, Creative Writing, Journalism or a related field
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience as a playwright or in a similar creative role
