Television Antenna Installer

Job Description

As a Television Antenna Installer, you'll be at the forefront of connecting customers to their favourite channels. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing television antennas, ensuring high-quality reception and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Assessing and addressing customer needs regarding television reception.
• Installing antennas on rooftops, masts, and other locations as needed.
• Ensuring all installations meet customer satisfaction and aesthetic guidelines.
• Completing service reports and ensuring all documentation is current.
• Engaging in ongoing training to keep abreast of the latest installation techniques.
• Providing follow-up service calls to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction.
• Ensuring all installations adhere to customer and company specifications.
• Working collaboratively with other teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
• Understanding and demonstrating knowledge of various television technologies.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Additional technical training is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in antenna systems

• Antenna Troubleshooting
• Safety Compliance

Certifications

• Telecommunications Essentials Certification
• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Ability to install and configure digital antennas and set-top boxes: Experience with digital antenna systems and associated hardware.
• Familiarity with signal meters and test equipment: Experience using signal testing tools to ensure optimal antenna performance.
