Job Description

We're on the lookout for an innovative UX/UI Designer to join our creative team in Hobart. This role requires a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and a knack for crafting beautiful, functional interfaces. Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to enhance user experience across our digital products.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research and gather feedback to inform design decisions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for new features.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately.
• Design user interface elements such as buttons, navigation, and layout.
• Utilise design tools like Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma to create engaging visuals.
• Maintain design consistency across multiple platforms and projects.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices for UX design.

Requirements

Education

• Associates or relevant experience is acceptable

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in UX/UI design

Technical Skills

• Sketch
• HTML/CSS

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies: Understanding Agile methodologies to contribute to iterative design processes.
