UX/UI Designer

Job Description

We're on the lookout for an innovative UX/UI Designer to join our creative team in Hobart. This role requires a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and a knack for crafting beautiful, functional interfaces. Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to enhance user experience across our digital products.

Responsibilities

• Engage in brainstorming sessions to generate creative design solutions.
• Create visually appealing and functional designs that meet user needs.
• Gather and analyse metrics to inform future design improvements.
• Use data to validate design decisions and enhance user experience.
• Collaborate on new feature development from conception to launch.
• Coordinate with technical teams to ensure feasible implementation.
• Participate in user testing sessions to observe and analyse user interaction.

Requirements

Education

• Associates or relevant experience is acceptable

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in UX/UI design

Technical Skills

• Sketch
• HTML/CSS

Soft Skills

• Team Player
• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of accessibility best practices: Awareness of accessibility standards and usability best practices.
• Experience with data visualisation tools: Experience working with tools for data visualisation to enhance user understanding.
