Job Description

We are seeking skilled Coating, Painting, and Spraying Machine Setters, Operators, and Tenders to join our team in Fremantle. The successful candidates will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint and coatings using various methods, and ensuring the proper maintenance of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with other team members to ensure efficient workflow.
• Maintains inventory of materials and supplies.
• Ensures compliance with safety regulations and environmental guidelines.
• Participates in training sessions to improve skillsets.
• Documents work progress and maintenance activities.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant trade certification

Experience

• Experience in marine painting is an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Experience with anti-fouling coatings
• Familiarity with safety regulations

Soft Skills

• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently

Certifications

• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge in marine safety procedures: Understanding of best practices in maritime operations and safety.
• Proficiency in using spray painting equipment: Hands-on experience with various spray application techniques.
