Job Description

We are seeking a Medical Doctor to join our healthcare team in Sydney. You will be responsible for assessing patients’ health, ordering diagnostic tests, and collaborating on treatment strategies. Emphasising a preventative approach, you will play an essential role in promoting the health and well-being of our community.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health needs and develop individual patient care plans.
• Engage with patients on treatment options, prognosis, and healthcare strategies.
• Participate in health promotion activities.
• Formulate and implement policies and procedures to improve patient care effectiveness.
• Report and manage adverse events or patient complaints.
• Provide training and education for medical students and interns.
• Involve in clinical research initiatives to advance medical knowledge.
• Comply with all legal and ethical standards within the medical practice.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate patient care processes.

Requirements

Education

• MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
• Specialty training in General Practice or related field preferred

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in a clinical setting

Certifications

• Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP)
