Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of client needs and strengths.
• Create personalized therapy programs based on client assessments.
• Deliver direct therapy services that promote independence and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to optimize client care.
• Regularly review and adapt treatment plans to meet changing client needs.
• Document treatment outcomes and maintain client confidentiality.
• Provide education on assistive devices and adaptive equipment.
• Encourage participation in therapeutic activities to enhance engagement.
• Contribute to team goals through shared knowledge and expertise.
• Assist clients in navigating available community resources.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Qualified in Mental Health First Aid is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a clinical setting

Certifications

• Registered Occupational Therapist
• Mental Health First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
