Job Description

As a House Visitor, you will be responsible for providing essential services to residents and visitors in a supportive environment. This role includes ensuring safety and security, assisting with inquiries, and maintaining cleanliness. Ideal candidates have a strong commitment to service and community well-being.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety checks and ensure all emergency procedures are followed.
• Assist residents with daily living activities as required.
• Stay updated on residents' needs and report changes.
• Actively participate in team meetings to discuss service improvements.
• Utilise technology effectively for record-keeping and reporting.
• Provide feedback to management on resident satisfaction and concerns.
• Assist with training new team members when necessary.
• Promote a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for visitors and residents.
• Participate in community outreach programs where applicable.

Requirements

Education

• Qualification in Aged Care, Disability or Community Services

Experience

• Experience working in a similar environment is highly preferred.

Technical Skills

• First Aid Certification

Advantageous

• Knowledge of multiple languages: Highly advantageous for interacting with diverse clients.
• Experience in event planning and coordination: Valuable for organizing community activities.
