Job Description

As a Cardiologist with us, you will play an essential role in providing medical care to patients with cardiovascular issues. You will be diagnosing and treating various heart conditions, working collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform medical evaluations and tests to assess heart conditions.
• Create and implement effective treatment strategies for patients.
• Prescribe appropriate medications and therapies for heart health.
• Educate patients and families on cardiovascular health.
• Work alongside other specialists in a multidisciplinary team.
• Ensure all patient data and records are up-to-date and accurately maintained.
• Stay current on advancements in cardiology and healthcare trends.
• Participate in case discussions and departmental meetings.
• Ensure ethical standards and regulatory compliance within practices.
• Guide medical interns and residents during practical sessions.

Requirements

Education

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent
• Advanced qualifications in Cardiology preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 3-5 years working as a Cardiologist in a clinical environment.

Technical Skills

• Advanced clinical skills
• Knowledge of cardiovascular diagnostics

Certifications

• Australian Medical Council (AMC) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
