Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Veterinary Technologist or Technician, where you will play a critical role in supporting veterinarians during surgical procedures and providing exceptional care to animals. We are looking for dedicated individuals who understand the importance of both pre-operative and post-operative care.

Responsibilities

  • Support surgical team in various medical procedures.
  • Conduct pre-surgical assessments and preparations.
  • Ensure compliance with veterinary medical protocols.
  • Document animal treatments and outcomes accurately.
  • Provide compassionate care to animals during recovery.
  • Coordinate with veterinary staff on patient care plans.
  • Train new staff on veterinary procedures and standards.
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary working environment.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Stay updated with veterinary practices and technology.

Requirements

Education
  • Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
  • Diploma in Veterinary Technology
Experience
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a veterinary surgery setting
