The State Auditor is seeking qualified individuals for the role of Tax Examiners and Revenue Agents. In this position, you will be responsible for conducting audits of government agencies, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Responsibilities

• Evaluate financial records for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare presentations of audit results for stakeholders.
• Investigate discrepancies and fraudulent activities.
• Support the development of policies to mitigate financial risks.
• Conduct follow-up audits to ensure previous recommendations have been implemented.
• Assist in the preparation of internal financial audits and external reporting.
• Participate in public forums to discuss transparency and accountability in government spending.
• Work under tight deadlines to meet audit schedules.
• Utilize various audit software to enhance data analysis.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in finance or related field.
• Master's degree is a plus.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in auditing or tax assessments.

Technical Skills

• Audit software (e.g., ACL, IDEA)
• Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)
