Job Description

We are on the lookout for an experienced and passionate Adjunct Instructor to teach Physics courses. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lectures, assessing student performance, and fostering a supportive learning environment for our students.

Responsibilities

  • Lead lectures, labs, and tutorials in Physics, ensuring a comprehensive educational experience.
  • Coordinate with the head of department to align courses with university goals.
  • Utilize technology effectively to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
  • Support students academically and personally, creating pathways for success.
  • Contribute to departmental research initiatives and grant writing as needed.
  • Participate in outreach activities to promote the Physics program to prospective students.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Physics or a related discipline
  • Master's degree in Education is an advantage
Experience
  • At least 3 years of teaching experience in tertiary education.
