Cutting and Slicing Machine Setters, Operators, and Tenders

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Cutting and Slicing Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating cutting and slicing machinery used in the packaging industry, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Configure machines for product specifications and monitor output.
• Identify and report quality issues promptly to management.
• Assist in inventory management of materials and supplies.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss productivity and quality goals.
• Conduct equipment cleaning and maintenance routines.
• Implement best practices for machine operation.
• Work collaboratively with quality control to ensure product standards.
• Proactively suggest improvements to enhance production efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Manufacturing Technology or similar
• Diploma in Industrial Technology is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in machine operation within a manufacturing setting.
