Job Description

We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team in Mackay. This role requires a proactive individual with expertise in designing, analyzing, and constructing structural components for various projects. The ideal candidate will contribute to innovative design solutions while ensuring compliance with all relevant building codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assess the structural integrity of existing buildings and make recommendations for retrofitting or repairs.
• Develop project schedules and budgets in collaboration with project managers.
• Stay updated with new engineering technologies and practices.
• Participate in design meetings and contribute engineering insights.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and contractors.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor project progress.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in structural design

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis
• Concrete Design

Soft Skills

Certifications

• NEBOSH Construction Health and Safety

Languages

• English: Fluent
