Job Description

We are looking for an Electronics Supervisor to oversee our dynamic electronics department in Melbourne. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in electronics manufacturing and assembly, coupled with a proven track record of supervising technical teams. Your role will involve managing operations, ensuring quality standards, and enhancing team productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate the electronics team in assembly and testing processes.
  • Ensure all products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Develop and implement continuous process improvements.
  • Oversee inventory management of electronic components.
  • Mentor technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Assist in the development of new electronics products.
  • Collaborate with engineering and sales departments to meet customer needs.
  • Drive initiatives to improve team collaboration and communication.
  • Report on performance metrics and suggest areas for development.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics or a related field
  • Certification in Project Management is a plus
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within electronics manufacturing
Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of PCB design and layout
