Job Description

As a Floor Sanding and Finishing Specialist, you will be responsible for removing old flooring materials and preparing surfaces for new installations. You will operate a range of tools including scrapers and grinders while ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Execute floor sanding and finishing processes accurately.
• Perform maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Adhere to quality control standards and procedures.
• Engage in ongoing training to stay updated with industry practices.
• Assist project managers with material ordering and site preparation.
• Help develop and implement new techniques for efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Experience

• Experience with specialty tools (e.g. jackhammers) is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Ability to operate power tools and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams

Soft Skills

• Analytical thinking
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
