Job Description

Construction Solutions Ltd. is looking for Concrete Handlers to join our growing team. In this vital role, you will manage, mix, and pour concrete, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Mix and pour concrete according to specified ratios and designs.
• Inspect and maintain machinery and tools for optimal performance.
• Assist with setting up forms and frameworks for concrete structures.
• Work effectively alongside other tradespeople to complete projects on time.
• Conduct continuous quality checks throughout the mixing and pouring process.
• Follow detailed blueprints and instructions to achieve desired outcomes.
• Report any discrepancies or issues immediately to the supervisor.
• Participate in safety briefings and training sessions.
• Document progress of work and report to the supervising manager.
• Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Certifications in concrete handling are an advantage.

Experience

• Previous experience in the construction industry is an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Concrete pouring techniques
• Machinery operation

Soft Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Physical fitness

Certifications

• Safety and First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in high-rise concrete work: Hands-on experience with high-rise construction projects.
• Previous work in a team leadership role: Ability to lead a team on site and manage workflow.
