Home Health Aide

Job Description

We are seeking compassionate Home Health Aides to provide essential support and care to patients in their homes. You will play a vital role in assisting with activities of daily living while ensuring a high standard of care and emotional support to patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality personal care tailored to individual patient needs.
• Monitor and document health metrics, promptly addressing any concerns.
• Assist families in understanding care routines and patient needs.
• Encourage patient participation in their care plans.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care
• Additional qualifications in mental health or palliative care preferred

Experience

• Experience with terminally ill patients is highly desirable.

Technical Skills

• Compassionate care

Certifications

• First Aid Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Mandarin: Conversational
