Job Description

We are looking for a Logging Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will engage in various tasks associated with logging operations, ensuring adherence to efficient and safe practices. Responsibilities will include operating and maintaining logging equipment, assisting in tree felling, and collaborating with team members to meet project goals.

Responsibilities

• Fell trees using chainsaws according to specific guidelines.
• Transport logs using appropriate equipment and techniques.
• Securely attach cables to felled trees for extraction.
• Monitor and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
• Assist with maintenance and repairs of logging tools.
• Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Participate in training to improve logging practices.
• Ensure clean and organized work sites.
• Collaborate with other logging personnel regarding project management.
• Keep detailed logs of daily work performed.

Requirements

Education

• No formal qualifications required, but certification in chainsaw operation is advantageous

Experience

• Prior experience in logging or related field is preferred.

Languages
