Job Description

We are seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee our operations in Cairns. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in warehouse management and logistics, ensuring efficient workflows and maintaining high safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop training programs for new hires and ongoing training for existing staff.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to warehousing and logistics.
• Work closely with suppliers and transport companies to ensure timely deliveries.
• Analyze data and metrics to improve operational efficiency.
• Act as a point of contact for customer inquiries related to warehouse operations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
• Master's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in warehouse operations and management

Technical Skills

• Safety Regulations Knowledge
• ERP Software Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Time Management

Certifications

• Hazardous Materials Certification
• Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies: Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma principles for continuous improvement.
• Experience in warehouse restructuring projects: Proven track record of leading warehouse restructuring initiatives.
