Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our talented team. In this role, you will perform crucial ultrasound examinations to assess circulatory health, interpret results, and provide valuable insights to physicians.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vascular ultrasound examinations accurately and efficiently.
• Document and communicate findings clearly and timely to the medical team.
• Support patients throughout procedures, addressing any concerns they may have.
• Engage in regular training sessions to improve skills in advanced ultrasound technologies.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated patient management.
• Adhere to all safety protocols while handling medical imaging equipment.

Requirements

Education

• Graduate of a recognised medical imaging program
• Postgraduate qualifications in Vascular Sonography are highly regarded

Experience

• Preferably 3+ years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting

Certifications

• Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR) registration
