We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in Townsville. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of animal health issues. You will work closely with our team to provide top-notch care for our patients while fostering strong relationships with pet owners.

Responsibilities

• Examine animals to diagnose health issues accurately.
• Administer vaccinations and other preventative health measures.
• Oversee the care and treatment provided by vet nurses.
• Conduct follow-up appointments and monitor patient recovery.
• Engage in team meetings to discuss patient care strategies.
• Participate in clinic marketing and outreach activities.
• Manage specific cases with a personalised approach to client and pet needs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine
• Postgraduate qualifications in veterinary surgery are desirable

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a veterinary clinic setting
