Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Surgeon who specializes in diagnosing and surgically treating conditions related to children's eyes. The successful candidate will work in a collaborative environment, focusing on improving patient outcomes and providing comprehensive care.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough eye exams and assess children for eye-related conditions.
  • Perform intricate eye surgeries, managing risks and complications effectively.
  • Educate patients and families about treatment options and aftercare.
  • Document patient care and treatment results meticulously.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss cases and share insights.
  • Engage in community outreach programs to enhance public awareness of eye health.
  • Collaborate with other surgeons and medical professionals for integrated patient care.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and best practices.
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior surgical staff.
  • Maintain compliance with all healthcare policies and safety guidelines.

Requirements

Education
  • Medical degree with specialization in ophthalmology
  • Fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology is preferred
Experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in pediatric and general ophthalmic surgery
