Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient medical histories and perform physical examinations.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment for kidney assessments.
• Manage chronic kidney disease and coordinate dialysis care.
• Implement preventative health measures for patients.
• Engage in collaborative case reviews with the medical team.
• Provide telehealth services as required.
• Participate in educational programs for staff and community.
• Contribute to clinical guidelines and protocols development.
• Review and refine treatment plans based on patient feedback.
• Assist in administrative duties related to patient care management.

Requirements

Education

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent)
• Fellowship in Nephrology

Experience

• 5+ years of clinical experience in nephrology settings

Technical Skills

• Kidney function tests
• Dialysis management

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Crisis management

Certifications

• AHPRA registration

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Fellowship in pediatric nephrology: Experience in treating kidney disorders in children.
• Experience in managing diabetic nephropathy: Knowledge and skills in treating diabetes-related kidney issues.
