Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Gamma Ray Operator to join our dedicated team. As a Gamma Ray Operator, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of gamma ray equipment, inspecting diverse materials and structures for any flaws or irregularities. Your expertise will play a critical role in ensuring safety and compliance within our operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-destructive testing using gamma ray equipment on various structures.
• Document inspection results and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
• Comply with all health and safety standards during testing operations.
• Assist in development and implementation of new testing methodologies.
• Participate in audits and quality control processes to maintain certification.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Engineering or related field
• Post-graduate qualifications in Non-Destructive Testing preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in the field of non-destructive testing

Technical Skills

• Ultrasonic Testing
• Data Analysis

Soft Skills

• Communication Skills
• Team Collaboration

Certifications

• Certified Radiation Safety Officer (CRSO)
• NDT Level II Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Industry Standards: Familiarity with industry standards and regulations relating to nuclear safety.
• Leadership experience in NDT teams: Experience leading or mentoring other operators in the use of gamma ray technology.
