Job Description

The Reverberatory Skimmer role involves operating and maintaining the skimming process to ensure quality in copper production. You'll be responsible for removing impurities and ensuring the molten copper remains pure throughout the production cycle.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the temperature and quality of molten metal during production.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and practices.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Record production outcomes and assist in inventory management.
• Report any safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
• Engage in continuous improvement practices to enhance productivity.
• Work with maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability.
• Participate in daily safety briefings.
• Assist in the preparation of equipment for shifts.

Requirements

Education

• Trade qualifications in mechanical or electrical fields are advantageous

Experience

• Experience in copper smelting or related industry is preferred

Technical Skills

• Industrial Control Systems (ICS)
• Heavy Machinery Operation

Soft Skills

• Adaptability
• Work Ethic

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in copper smelting or related industry: Prior experience in a similar industrial setting is highly desirable.
