Job Description

As a Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in assessing and treating patients with respiratory issues. You’ll work in various healthcare locations, adapting to the fast-paced environment with skill and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough assessments on patients experiencing respiratory issues.
• Deliver oxygen therapy and manage mechanical ventilation as required.
• Engage in patient and family education regarding respiratory health.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document all patient interactions clearly and accurately.
• Lead quality improvement projects within the respiratory department.
• Provide training and support to junior staff and new team members.
• Travel to various healthcare facilities as needed to meet patient care demands.

Requirements

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• Registered as a Respiratory Therapist with AHPRA

Experience

• Experience working in a variety of clinical settings

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
