Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

As a Mechanical Engineer at Engineering Solutions Pty Ltd, you will be tasked with designing, testing, and implementing mechanical systems and devices. You will collaborate with other engineers and cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that meet our clients' needs. The successful candidate will have a strong grasp of engineering principles, proficiency in CAD software, and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new mechanical systems and products.
• Evaluate existing systems for improvements.
• Create prototypes and oversee testing procedures.
• Provide technical support for sales and marketing teams.
• Identify potential manufacturing issues and resolve them early.
• Coordinate with environmental and safety regulations in design.
• Assist in preparing project proposals and budgets.
• Develop maintenance schedules for mechanical systems.
• Conduct regular inspections of mechanical components.
• Promote a culture of safety and responsibility within the engineering team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree with a focus on Structural Mechanics preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and analysis

Technical Skills

• ANSYS
• AutoCAD

Soft Skills

• Time Management
• Negotiation

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
• Certified Engineering Technician (CET)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with renewable energy systems: Experience in designing mechanical systems for energy efficiency.
• Proficient in statistical analysis software: Ability to utilize software for data analysis in engineering projects.
