Job Description

As a Computer User Support Specialist, you'll be the frontline for technical support within our organization. You will install, configure, and troubleshoot microcomputers and peripherals, ensuring optimal functionality for all users.

Responsibilities

  • Installing and configuring new microcomputers and peripherals.
  • Performing routine checks and maintenance on IT hardware.
  • Troubleshooting software conflicts and resolving connectivity issues.
  • Providing timely support to staff regarding IT-related queries.
  • Maintaining an updated inventory list of hardware and software.
  • Ensuring compliance with company security protocols.
  • Documenting technical issues and resolutions for future reference.
  • Collaborating with vendors for hardware repairs when needed.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years in technical support or related roles
Technical Skills
  • Microsoft Office Suite
Soft Skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
Certifications
  • CompTIA Network+ (preferable)
Languages
  • English: Fluent

  • Experience in network administration: Familiarity with configuring and managing network systems.
