Job Description

We're on the lookout for a skilled Whiting Machine Operator to join our bustling production team in Sydney. This role involves operating and maintaining whiting machines, ensuring the production of quality seafood products while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot whiting machines efficiently.
• Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure product quality.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery to avoid downtime.
• Document production activities and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe workplace.
• Work with the production team to achieve daily targets and deadlines.
• Participate in safety meetings and contribute to safety initiatives.
• Support the team in achieving hygiene and cleanliness in the production area.

Requirements

Education

• Additional certifications in machinery operation or maintenance is preferred

Experience

• Experience in the food production industry is advantageous.

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in operating a whiting machine or similar equipment: Hands-on experience in seafood processing machinery.
