Job Description

The Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems Technician (sUAS Technician) is responsible for maintaining and operating unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for various applications such as aerial photography, surveying, and inspection. This role involves working closely with engineers and other professionals to ensure the safe and effective use of UAV technology.

Responsibilities

  • Run pre-flight preparation checks and ensure aircraft health.
  • Operate UAVs with precision to capture aerial data for different projects.
  • Execute scheduled maintenance and manage repair tasks effectively.
  • Contribute to UAV technology enhancement projects alongside engineers.
  • Comply with all necessary aviation laws and regulatory guidelines.
  • Assist in client demonstrations and technical presentations.

Requirements

Education
  • Associate degree or higher in aviation, aerospace, or related field
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in operating and maintaining UAVs.
Technical Skills
  • UAV operation
  • Troubleshooting UAV systems
Soft Skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Team collaboration
Certifications
  • Remote Pilot License (RePL) issued by CASA
Languages
  • English: Fluent
