We are on the lookout for a skilled Power Lineman Technician to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining, repairing, and installing electrical power lines and equipment. Responsibilities

• Install and maintain power distribution systems.
• Respond to electrical failures in a timely manner to minimize service disruption.
• Perform routine safety checks on power lines and associated equipment.
• Collaborate with project managers to meet deadlines and project requirements.
• Document all repairs and installations in compliance with regulations.
• Engage in ongoing training to keep skills current across technology and safety protocols.
• Participate in community outreach programs to educate the public on electrical safety.
• Assist in the development of operational guidelines and safety measures.
• Identify opportunities for system improvements and efficiencies.
• Provide technical support to team members on complex issues.

Requirements

Education

• Trade Certification in Electrical Engineering or relevant field

Experience

• 5 years of hands-on experience working with power lines

Technical Skills

• GIS and CAD Software Proficiency

Soft Skills

• Adaptability

Certifications

• High Voltage Training Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Live Line Maintenance: Hands-on experience in maintaining electrical systems while live.
• Familiarity with Advanced Safety Equipment: Experience using new safety technologies and equipment.
