Job Description

The Sewer will be responsible for creating, altering, and repairing garments and other items made of fabric, leather, and other materials. This role demands expertise in operating sewing machines and tools, with an emphasis on garment construction and pattern making.

Responsibilities

  • Create garments from scratch, ensuring adherence to design specifications.
  • Alter existing garments based on client feedback or design adjustments.
  • Utilize various sewing techniques to ensure durability and aesthetic appeal.
  • Regularly maintain and upkeep sewing machines to guarantee operational efficiency.
  • Achieve production targets while adhering to quality control protocols.
  • Document all fabric requirements and usage for accurate inventory management.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant qualifications in fashion design are a plus
Experience
  • Exposure to diverse sewing techniques and materials is advantageous.
