Job Description

As a Placement Coordinator, you will manage student placements in work experience and internship programs, liaising with employers and ensuring a successful match for both parties. This role is crucial in helping students gain valuable industry exposure and skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and oversee work placements and internships for students, ensuring alignment with their career goals.
• Develop and nurture partnerships with industry partners and employers.
• Conduct job readiness workshops covering resume writing and interview skills.
• Administer online job boards and databases to streamline the placement process.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and labor market information to inform students.
• Manage placement data and provide insightful reports to the management team.
• Work alongside students to ensure they are aware of their rights and obligations during placements.
• Gather and incorporate feedback from students and employers to enhance placement programs.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant certifications in Human Resources or Employment Services

Experience

• Experience in vocational education settings is preferred.
