Machine Feeders and Offbearers

Job Description

As a Machine Feeder and Offbearer, your primary responsibility will be to prepare material take-offs and estimates for various construction projects in collaboration with project managers, estimators, and engineers. You will ensure the accuracy and timeliness of estimates, contributing to the successful execution of projects.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project documents for material requirements.
• Collaborate with estimators to refine costing methods.
• Perform on-site assessments to gather data for estimates.
• Maintain organized records of take-offs and estimates.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams regarding project statuses and updates.

Requirements

Education

• Certification in construction estimating or related field is preferred

Experience

• Experience with MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) estimating is a plus

Technical Skills

• Estimating Software
• Knowledge of Construction Materials

Languages

• English: Fluent
