We are seeking an experienced Estate Tax Examiner to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing estate tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, and identifying potential issues that may require further investigation.

Responsibilities

• Review documentation for estate tax filings and ensure compliance with laws.

• Prepare and review technical documentation for audits and examinations.
• Develop strategies for optimizing tax compliance processes.
• Mentor junior staff on best practices in estate tax examination.
• Actively participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of tax regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, or related field
• Additional certifications in taxation are preferred

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience specifically in estate and gift taxation.

• Knowledge of tax laws
