As a Railroad Brake, Signal, and Switch Operator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of freight cars. Your responsibilities will include operating signals and switches while adhering to safety regulations and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety checks on locomotives and equipment.
• Manage the shunting of cars safely and efficiently.
• Act as a lookout for oncoming trains and signals.
• Maintain accurate logs of train movements and switches.
• Assist in training new operators and staff.
• Communicate effectively with all operational departments.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in logistics or rail operations is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Basic mechanical knowledge

Languages
